Decaf Soy Latte – Monday Moments

Filed under: Monday Moments — by Alison @ 10:00 pm

She’d already picked out her toy from the toy store, but then I saw the toy cappuccino machine and felt it needed to be added to our kitchen set.

She stands at the play kitchen, an apron folded and tied around her waist. She tells me to sit on the floor and asks “Can I take your order?”.

– Do you have soy milk? I respond.

She looks at the notepad in her hand, “Yes”.

“Okay, I’ll have a decaf soy latte.”

“With sprinkles?”

“Sure, sounds delicious.”

She whirs the machine, shakes the shaker and comes back to me with a yellow cup. “Here you go. Decaf soy latte, no whup.”

  1. Maybe we need one of those because all my boys know how to do is make pretend coffee, which I can’t muster up the imaginary enthusiasm to enjoy 😉

    • She was out of the dairy-free “whup”, that’s why she gave me sprinkles.
