Scenes from Bedtime

Filed under: Kids — by Alison @ 1:53 pm

Scene: Lying in E’s bed after stories. I’m on my side squished against the wall. She rolls towards me.

E: Mommy put your arm around me.

(I comply, she snuggles in close, and tucks her head under my chin)
E: You’re the best mommy. I love you.

Me: (grinning-pleased) I love you too sweetie.

(quiet for a few minutes)

E: Mommy, can you stop breathing? You’re breathing on me.

End scene.

  2. Gotta go with E of this one, I hate it when people breathe on me too. 😉 I have convinced k that him snuggling in w his back is preferable 🙂
