What I’m watching

Filed under: Adventure — by Alison @ 11:36 pm

I had decided not to make a big deal out of it but try to participate in NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). And now it’s Day 5 and I didn’t find the time to blog until after 11pm. Also, I don’t have anything very exciting to say. I have some blog ideas on post-it notes in the office, but all of them will require more thinking than I can handle this late. Instead of some very exciting and thought-provoking post, I decided to share the shows I’m watching this fall and my very brief thoughts.

Castle – Definitely my favourite show. This is one I will stay up and actually watch live. I’ve also put the new book and graphic novel on my Christmas list.

How I Met Your Mother – Still funny, but would like them to introduce the mother soon.

Modern Family – I laugh out loud at least twice an episode.

Ringer– I  started watching because of Sarah Michelle Geller, and I’m enjoying all the twists. Hoping to have some of the mysteries wrapped up soon, there’s a lot unanswered.

Revenge– Missed the pilot, which it turns out I need to see, but enjoy the premise and watching how rich people live.

Once Upon A Time– I’ve only seen the pilot so far. Seems to have a good cast, and it’s something different. Also, Sark from Alias is on it, which makes me happy.

Grimm– Also, just one episode in. I’ll give it a few more weeks before making a call.

Chuck– Really hope that they get the intersect out of Morgan, and that the show doesn’t focus on Jeff and Lester. I don’t find them entertaining.

PanAm– The re-creation of the 60’s is fun, but I’m not that compelled by the characters. If it’s on when I’m looking for something to watch, I’ll tune in, but I’m not recording it.

This list doesn’t include my real estate shows or Senators hockey games. Anything I’m missing out on that I really need to watch? Or maybe that’s enough television for me?

  1. Right now we are watching mad men on Netflix, we’re on season 3 and I’m thoroughly enjoying. I’m also watching season 4 of being erica but its just not as fun to wait a week between episodes :). Eric and I pvr a d really enjoy castle, Nathan filion cracks me up 🙂 I also love modern family and we were liking community but the pvr stopped recording it and apparently that’s all it takes for us to forget about a show. Hehe

    • I tried Mad Men but wasn’t enthralled. It may have been over-hyped for me. I’ll stop and watch Community but it doesn’t make the pvr cut.

  2. I should try Chuck. I also like In Plain Sight. Actually love all USA shows.
