Christmas Charity

Now that my son’s birthday is out of the way, it’s time to start planning for Christmas and all the excitement the new year will bring. While we have a lot of Christmas excitement, I also think know that charity at Christmas is important so that the kids recognize how privileged they are. There are three main Christmas related charities we’ll be supporting this year: Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, Shepherd’s of Good Hope’s Christmas Hamper Program and Toy Mountain.

I wrote a post about Operation Christmas Child for Kids in the Capital and hope to write one about the hamper program. Until then, you can find more information here. The Toy Mountain has been set up at the mall, and we’ll be planning a shopping trip soon.

Are there other Christmas focussed charities you support?
