My not-so-secret secrets

Filed under: Uncategorized — by Alison @ 10:58 pm

Amy‘s list of small funny things and Lara’s expose on her shower habits, has encouraged me to share some of my quirks with the world.

1. I have an uncanny memory for details regarding television shows. Ever heard of Young Riders or TV101? I’ve seen them both.

2. I have a real bad memory for faces. When I was a camp counsellor, I would only remember the names of kids for the week they were with me. Even if they came back the following Monday, I would have no idea who they were.

3. I’m a NKOTB fan. I saw them once in concert when I was in Grade 8, and have seen them twice in the past 5 years.

4. My favourite dessert is brownies with ice-cream. I will pick this every time.

5. I feel that the majority of holiday baking should involve condensed milk. This is mainly so that I can eat it by the spoonful.

6. I once spent a summer reading nothing but Danielle Steel novels that my Nana got out of the library.

7. I was a lifeguard but deep water terrifies me.

8. I am stockpiling candy cane ice cream in my deep freeze, it all needs to be eaten by end of December.

9. I used to be able to recite the Senators rosters in numeric order.

10. I think Finns have the best names in the world. I had hoped to name my son Janne (Jani) but it doesn’t work so well with our last name.

11. You can actual see all four of the quad muscles on Daniel Alfredsson’s leg. I helped test his leg during his spate of knee injuries.

And that is all I can think of.

  1. Janne really wouldn’t have worked. Unless you were going for hilarious 🙂

  3. I can’t remember people’s names two minutes after meeting them but I can remember details of their life that they forget.

I have eaten more candy from kids’ halloween bags than they have.

    YouTube is my procrastinating nemesis.
