Hilights of the week- September 30th

1.  A long conversation with a good friend, and feeling like I was able to help a little even though I’m far away.

2. Getting other people hooked on Ticket to Ride.

3. The return of Castle.

4. H at preschool by himself. The big grin and hug he gave me when I picked him up.

5. E taking pride in her school work.

6. Supportive friends and tweeps who threaten to write strongly worded letters on your behalf.

7. Only 4 more sleeps until my sister arrives.

What was the hilight of your week? Or just something that made you smile?

Much thanks to Ann for the inspiration.

  1. I looooooove Ticket to Ride. Which map do you have? We have the European one, friends have the North American one, and we have other friends with an Africa one where you play in teams. I think you can get an iPad app with all the maps built in. Awwwwwwwwwsome.

If you are a game playing family, may I recommend Dominion? It’s a card game that we are newly obsessed with and we have converted all our friends to it, as well. Between several of us we are now obsessed with collecting expansion packs. It’s fabulous!

    • We have the North American board and iPad app. I want to get the Scandinavian special edition for Christmas, and may get another version for my sister so we can share.
I’ll look into Dominion. We love Settlers of Catan, and are trying to get into Agricola. Friends are supposed to come over and teach us how to play.
